"Dave's really kept the magic of Kessels while updating its look. The red checkered tablecloths and booths are still there as is the Breyer's ice cream. The to-go window was a great addition. I've been going to Kessel's for 36 years (it was the first place my brother and I were allowed to go to by "ourselves" for lunch...turned out my parents were trailing us the whole time, though). Get the cheese steak (not huge portions but that's fine with me), fries, MILKSHAKES! The waitstaff is as cute as ever - decked out in blast-from- the-past white uniforms. Time stands still at Kessel's for me and now my kids love it too!"
